The Association Helvetia Lyrica aims to build up a repository for the heritage of Lyric Art from its roots to the first half of the 20th century, by collecting various types of documents, such as images, autographs and manuscripts, scores, posters, press articles and theater programs.
In keeping with its cultural and educational vocation, the Association's website Helvetia Lyrica presents a selection of documents representative of the rich history of Lyric Art, in compliance with the Swiss Confederation's Copyright and Neighboring Rights Act.
The items displayed on the site come from the collections of the Association, its members or partner institutions that make them available.
The virtual exhibition has been designed to offer multiple access points and intuitive navigation paths beyond the three main themes proposed: by repertoire, by Composer and by performer.
The accompanying texts are deliberately brief to capture the attention of lay visitors, while still conveying important information.
Currently under construction, the site will be regularly enriched with new content.
Let yourself be carried away by images of the past to discover the endangered heritage of Lyric Art excellence!
