Lecture by Patrick Favre-Tissot:

“ Verdi: The Rise Through Musical Patriotism”

Patrick Favre-Tissot-Bonvoisin, a musicologist, lecturer, and music historian, works throughout the French-speaking regions of Europe. He focuses particularly on European music of the 18th and 19th centuries. The author of several biographies of Composers, including one devoted to Giuseppe Verdi, he is a Knight of the Order of Academic Palms “for his work in promoting knowledge of music history in the French-speaking world.”
