Our first event, the lecture on the History of Castrati by Professor Emeritus Patrick Barbier, held on May 2 at Geneva's Musée d'Art et d'Histoire, was undoubtedly a great success.

We're expecting a video clip to sum up this moment soon, and plan to publish the conference in its entirety, on a private Youtube channel dedicated solely to our members, for this coming September 2024.

Since the conference, we've seen an increase in membership applications, resulting in a 20% conversion rate among the public in attendance. We're very proud of this achievement, and we'd like to thank everyone who played a part in making it such a success.

Our next event with Professor Emeritus Patrick Barbier will take place on November 21, 2024, a conference dedicated entirely to the Farinelli castrato.

We are currently preparing our next event on June 20 and 27, an exhibition about the Swedish soprano and "Prima Donna" Christine Nilsson (1843-1921), who inaugurated New York's new Metropolitan Opera House on October 22, 1883 (see link below).

For the occasion, we will be hosted by our partner Swiss One Plus, who will be providing us with a number of suitable display cases. This first exhibition, designed to showcase a limited sample of documents relating to the singer, will give the public a glimpse of her work, pending the organization of a larger exhibition with the expected partners.

As our capacity is limited, we have organized two evenings starting at 7pm, with priority given to association members. Participation is by registration only.
