September 24 – Lecture: Verdi Rise to Prominence Through Musical Patriotism”
We are pleased to welcome music historian and musicologist Patrick Favre-Tissot on Thursday, September 24, at 6:30 p.m. for a lecture on Giuseppe Verdi. This event will kick off a series of lectures dedicated to the life and career of the Italian “ Composer .” For this first installment, we will explore his youth, his early creative endeavors, and the meteoric rise that led to the success of *Nabucco*.
As usual, the presentation will be accompanied by musical excerpts played on the exceptional Hi-Fi equipment provided by our partner, Présence Audio.
The conference will take place at the Salle GAMMAH of the Musée d'Art et d'Histoire de Genève (Promenade du Pin 5 1204 Geneva).
Admission to the conference is free, but we recommend that you register by e-mail to ensure a seat.
After the lecture, you can join the speaker for dinner (members: CHF 95.- / non-members: CHF 125.-). Registration required.

October 4–7 – Master Class with Jennifer Larmore
From October 4 to 7, we will have the immense privilege of welcoming the renowned American mezzo-soprano Jennifer Larmore to Geneva, where she will lead our third international master class.
The possibility of attending sessions as an auditor is reserved exclusively for members of the association.
October 8 –“New Talents”Closing Concert
On Thursday, October 8, at 8:00 p.m., the young talents from the MasterClass will perform in public the pieces they have worked on with the Maestra, accompanied by pianist Agnes Lörincz, at the Frank Martin Hall (3 Minas Audemars Street – 1204 Geneva).
Association members will enjoy a special treat after the concert: a meet-and-greet with Jennifer Larmore to commemorate this exceptional encounter.
The closing concert is open to the public, inclusive, and free of charge, but we nevertheless encourage you to reserve your seats
