MasterClass by Maestro Chris Merritt
Final concert by young lyric artists
News from our honorary committee
Maestro Chris Merritt, legendary tenor and Chairman of our Honorary Committee, has agreed to conduct our second Masterclass for young opera artists, which will take place at the Grand Théâtre de Genève from October 7 to 10.
It is once again a joy and a great honor to welcome Maestro Chris Merritt, who has left his mark on the history of opera.
We are infinitely grateful to him for his support since the association's creation.
The possibility of attending sessions as an auditor is reserved exclusively for members of the association.
On Saturday, October 11 at 7pm , MasterClass participants will perform in public at the final concert, accompanied by pianist Agnes Lörincz, at the Conservatoire Populaire de Genève (Rue François d'Ivernois 7, 1206 Geneva).
Admission to the concert is free, but we invite you to reserve your seats.
You can fill in the registration form for one or more Masterclass sessions (reserved exclusively for members) and/or the final concert by clicking on the icon below.
We invite you to save the evening of Thursday, October 23, 6.30pm, for another lecture by Professor Patrick Barbier. He will return to recount the life and long career of Pauline Viardot, Maria Malibran's sister, whose short but intense life and career he had already told us about last March.
It's also an opportunity to admire rare iconographic items from this period and its protagonists, on display in the conference room.
The conference will take place at the Salle GAMMAH of the Musée d'Art et d'Histoire de Genève (Promenade du Pin 5 1204 Geneva).
Admission to the conference is free, but we recommend that you register by e-mail to ensure a seat.
After the lecture, you can join the speaker for dinner (members: CHF 95.- / non-members: CHF 125.-). Registration required.

We are delighted to welcome to our Honorary Committee Mr. Romain Jordan, who will also be the association's legal counsel.
Mr. Jordan deployed all his resources to secure our registration in the Geneva Commercial Register, which should support our development.
Mr. Jordan is also a recognized music lover, committed to defending the role of music in social cohesion.
The Executive Committee extends its warmest thanks to him for accepting the proposal to join the Honorary Committee.
